This month, Ulendo Airlink of the Ulendo Travel Group announced that it will soon be offering a new triangular service connecting the country’s capital Lilongwe with the gateway to Northern Malawi, Mzuzu and the white beaches of Likoma Island! Opening this route for the first time on Wednesday, 15 May, the new triangular route will allow Ulendo’s customers to cut travel times to enable more time to conduct business effectively or to leisurely enjoy the white sands and clear waters of Likoma Island.
The route will be flown by a new high-performance twin-engine Dornier 228-100. Outfitted with 15 comfortable leather seats, the Dornier 228 can cruise at higher speeds and altitudes allowing for a faster and smoother journey. The route will operate six frequencies a week.
Ulendo Airlink already offers a range of flight solutions for business travellers and holiday-makers to key domestic and regional destinations from their bases in Lilongwe and Likoma Island. Ulendo Airlink’s vision behind this most recent expansion is to grow with the Malawi Tourism and Travel sectors by evolving their services to surpass the expectations of discerning travellers while delivering first world service standards.
