Check out this incredible sighting that guests of Mvuu Lodge and Camp were treated to on a recent game drive in Liwonde National Park with Central African Wilderness Safaris.
Ever since cheetahs were relocated to Liwonde National Park in 2017, after an absence of 20 years in Malawi, and a century long absence in Liwonde, their population has gradually increased in the area. The team at Mvuu Lodge and Camp regularly reports sightings of these beautiful felines on daily safari activities. Cheetahs were the first big cats to be reintroduced to the park and thanks to ongoing wildlife conservation efforts by African Parks and various other organisations, rare sightings like this are being recorded once again.
